This policy applies to https://www.workingtitle.sg, an independent Singapore lifestyle journal. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

Reading the website

The website is a static HTML/CSS publication. It does not provide user accounts, a newsletter subscription form, comments, purchases or an on-site enquiry form. You can read its public pages without submitting personal information to the website.

The delivered website code does not include analytics scripts, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. Fonts, styles and images are served locally rather than loaded from a third-party font or image service. If these practices change, this policy should be updated before the new tools are used.

Hosting and technical data

A hosting provider may process technical information necessary to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps and error logs. Exact logging and retention depend on the hosting configuration. This information may be used for security, troubleshooting and reliable delivery, rather than advertising profiling.

Security or infrastructure services may have their own technical data practices. The absence of tracking scripts in the page code does not mean that no technical information is processed when a page is requested.

When you email us

If you write to [email protected], we receive the information in your message. This can include your email address, name, message content and any attachments you choose to provide. We use it to respond, consider your suggestion, investigate a correction or handle your request.

Please do not send sensitive medical records, identity documents or information about other people unless it is necessary and you are entitled to share it. The public journal is not a channel for individual medical or legal advice.

Service providers and overseas processing

Hosting and email services may process information on our behalf for the purposes described here. We do not use this website to sell personal information or build advertising profiles. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect security or respond to a lawful request.

Service providers may process information outside Singapore. Where applicable, appropriate safeguards should be used in line with Singapore’s personal data protection requirements. Provider arrangements depend on the services used to host the website and manage email.

Retention and security

Email correspondence and related records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain necessary records or meet legal obligations. Technical log retention depends on the hosting provider and its settings. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised where practical.

Reasonable safeguards should protect stored information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid sending information that is not necessary for your enquiry.

The website links to external reference pages and licences. Following a link takes you to another website with its own privacy and cookie practices. We do not control those sites. An email link opens your own email application and is subject to your email provider’s practices.

This static website does not set its own cookies or use local storage. If the hosting setup or future features introduce cookies or tracking, their use and any required choices should be explained before they are enabled.

Your requests and policy changes

You may contact us to ask about personal information you have supplied, request access or correction, or request withdrawal of consent where applicable. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Requests are handled subject to applicable law and any permitted exceptions.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the website or its services. The effective date will identify the revised version. For a request or concern, write to [email protected]. See also our Terms of Use.
